COVID-19

Our commitment to ensuring the health and safety of our clients, team, and community is our top priority. We have implemented the following protocols to maintain a safe, sanitized, and pleasant environment for both our clients and our staff. 

IN PREPARATION FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT, WE KINDLY ASK THAT YOU: 

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • Fill out the COVID-19 INTAKE FORM before coming in for your appointment. (To be done within the 24 hours before your appointment) this must be completed BEFORE your arrival.  We cannot commence service until this has been completed and signed.
  • If you are experiencing any COVID-like symptoms, please contact us to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
  • Please attend your appointment alone; avoid bringing any guests as the waiting area will be closed.

AT YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • Please wait inside your car. Text or Call us 6475337202 once you have arrived, and we will confirm when it is safe to enter. The waiting area will be closed.

  • If we suspect any client to be symptomatic, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment & instructed to contact a health provider.

  • Hand sanitizer will be available at the entrance, and all clients will be asked to wash and/or sanitize their hands when entering and before leaving.

  • A disposable mask will be provided for your appointment; I will also be wearing a mask for the length of the appointment

  • Please bring your own sweater or blanket (if you are easily chilled).  We are unable to provide this during your time with us.

 

 WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US:

PHYSICAL DISTANCING

  • Appointment times will be staggered to allow physical distancing.
  • We will continue to operate on an appointment-only basis. Drop-ins are not permitted.

  • Client & visitor records and contact information will be kept on file to enable public health contact tracing if needed.

  • We will maintain a single point of entry.

SELF-SCREENING

  • Staff will undertake self-screening before attending work, and will not provide any services if feeling ill.

PROTECTIVE WEAR

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be worn by all team members. 

SANITIZATION 

Staff has completed the BARBICIDE COVID-19 Certification for the Professional Beauty Industry Training

  • Staff will perform hand hygiene in the following scenarios: (this list is non-exhaustive)

    • When entering and exiting the building

    • Before and after each client

    • When putting on and removing personal protective equipment (mask, gloves)

    • After cleaning and sanitizing the work space, equipment, instruments, other work related materials

    • After going to the washroom

  • Equipment, instruments and material that cannot be disinfected between clients are never reused.

  • All surfaces will be cleaned and sanitized between clients.

  • All common-touch surfaces will be cleaned and sanitized with Health Canada approved disinfectant.

  • Washrooms will have frequent cleaning and sanitization.
